Hey strength seekers, it's Friday! Check out these videos. Follow this link to the Gut Wrench Cradle. And fellow strongman and ambassador of awesomeness Mike Gillete stopped by and you can check out this quick interview he did with me. I'm very excited, I'l be posting some pics of a Loadable Globe Barbell for Derek that turned out totally amazing! Then there is something else that I can hardly wait to share! You'll have to wait on it though.
Have a great weekend!

I'm back and Inspired!

Hey Strength seekers. It's great to be home to my beautiful wife and my little Lexi. We had a wonderful time and I loved the hot 100 degree Texas weather. I'm posting some pictures of the trip to Dino-World and you will see me squaring off with a dino, giving a dino a hard knee and then staying clear of the raptors who were surrounding us. Gotta know when to fight and when to stay low! I'll also be posting 4 or 5 short mace swinging videos. What a great tool to take anywhere. I love usi
ng it first thing in the morning. You will see some swinging by the pool, this was warming and getting me ready for some barbell cleans and presses at the complex gym. If you train with weights, a mace is a fantastic tool for warming up before and cooling down after and also in between. And on off days use it to get some fantastic mobility and active recovery going. There are a couple of videos swinging by the Dino-World entrance and then we were off to the Chisholm trail and did some swinging by an indian Tipi and on old stage coach that was used in a couple of John Wayne movies. So look for those, and get yourself a Mace and get swinging!

Mace Swinging and Dinosaur battling!
Hey Strength Seekers. Having a great time in Texas. Warm, but I love it! You are going to love the mace swinging videos to come and the pictures of battling dinosaurs! Great fun! I think the dinosaurs would have gone extinct sooner if Stronger Grip was around back then. You will see a cool short mace video being swung in front of a stage coach that was used in a few John Wayne movies!

On Vacation!!
Hey Strength seekers. I have not fallen off the face of the earth. I'm on vacation and regrouping. Logan, Hanna and I are in Texas visiting family and getting some R & R. Just did some short Mace swinging videos by the pool side. I'll post them on our return, because I forgot my usb cable. Before I left I got all regular orders out and have a handful of custom orders that I'll be finishing when I get back. Wait till you see these custom ones, very cool! Stronger Grip is finding it's way into the hands of sports athletes as well as the grip and strength freaks. The clubs and maces continue to be great sellers and I you will see these grow as the benefits received from using such implements complements and supports everything from hard core bending, powerlifting, rock climbing, moto-cross, tennis, golf, football, you name it and you will gain from using them. I did'nt get the Colossal or Monster Sledge listed in time for the 4th of July, so look for an initial listing sale very soon. As well as a really cool NEW item that is sure to take you back to the days of Old School lifting. I'm excited. We're off to Hurricane Harbor!!

Stronger Grip - More New Stuff!
Hey Strength Seekers. The month of June is flying by. Starting right NOW all Stronger Grip tools that use collars will come with Pitt-Bull collars. What are Pitt-Bull collars? They are collars that fit on all SG 1" standard tools, like GripBall Dumbbell, Leverage Block, & Leverage Ball. These have 2 set screws that bite down and give you a secure hold. The Price on these items will be increasing slightly, but will be well worth it. I want to stick to the high quality Stronger Grip is known for and the old cheap collars I was sending out just didn't fit the vision. While were on the Pitt-Bull Collar topic, I will have Olympic Ones available next month. The price increase on these items will take effect July 16th. Until then you will get the Pitt-Bull collar upgrade for free!
Tomorrow look for the Stronger Grip Tip Of The Week where I will show you how to make a homemade cradle for your Gut Wrench. The Gut Wrench was envisioned for the MMA Fighter to be used on the mat or outdoors to mimic being under pressure as you would move and maneuver with an opponent. I've gotten some feedback and agree that with novices the Gut Wrench can be a bit much to control. So this cradle works like magic for keeping it stable and steady. You can also put 2 cradles together and do a double Gut Wrench workout. If you don't have a Trailer Hitch for your Gut Wrench, your msising out. So look for that tomorrow.
And for myself I made a set of 2" Thick handle Clubs. These are very cool. I'll get a video this week of these also.
Till tomorrow.

Stronger Grip Tip Of The Week

Strength seekers, it's Memorial day. Gods Peace to those who have lost loved ones and thanks to those who gave their lives for our freedom. We are in a country that has freedom and most don't take that as a blessing. Our freedom has been fought for and defended by our soldiers. Thank them.
Stronger Grip Tip Of The Week is a fantastic DIY. You will see what you need, how much it'll cost and what a great addition to your arsenal these will be. I was grabbing some other goodies for making some DIY grip and conditioning gear. Some of them needed access to a chop saw, sanding equipment and even a welder. Then I saw what I'm about to share with you now. Non-metallic 90 degree elbows. Very cool. They have a very comfortable arc and the diameter is close to 1-1/2". Best thing is they are as-is. So I grabbed a couple of them, (2) 5/16" quick links and (2) 6ft sections of chain. That's it. Very simple and brutally effective. Check the picture. All that was under $20. These handles work well for gymnastic rings, pull-up handles and sled pulling handles.
Here are two videos. Video 1 Video 2
Have an awesome week!

Stronger Grip Tip of the Week & an Unveiling!
Hey Strength Seekers. StrongerGrip is spreading like Wildfire! I'm blessed. Had my birthday on Sunday the 17th. Wonderful day! On that day a NEW toy was also born. Check out the SGTOTW video for it! The Stronger Grip Tip of the Week is on video and will give you wrists of steel. I have all the stuff for the pull-up and sled pull handles in garage, I'll get a video for that next week. At least that is my goal. You 'll enjoy it. I got to thinking, most of you probably don't have access to the equipment and tools I do, so hopefully you can make use of the DIY tip. If not I think this will be desireable as a package deal with a few tweaks to make them more verstaile and useful.
I lost my Grandpa this week. 97 years young! An incredible man. Not a soft man by any standard. He lived with no indoor plumbing all his life! What? Yes, my friends he had to get water out of a well on top of a hill in buckets and bring them down to the farm house to do dishes, bathe, everything you would do by turning on a handle he did the hard way. OK the well had a electric pump. So maybe he was a little spoiled. A great man with great work ethic. No complaining. Just did it. Where is that attitude these days? You'll be missed Grandpa. Love you.
Another reminder on Stronger Grip quality. When you invest in a Stronger Grip tool, you have something that will last. Materials used, design, and extreme care to quality. There are many shortcuts that can be taken, StrongerGrip will not even think about it. The objective of SG is High-Quality and creativity that bring you lasting and fun tools to help in your quest for strength & health.

Red Mace

Hey Strength seekers. It's a beautiful day here in Ia. Sun is shining and the fresh air is plentiful. Ahhh. I love life! Matt from Mass. wanted a 6" Mace painted Red. So here it is. It looks really cool! My friends at Primal fitness in Ca. requested some clubs a bit longer than the standard and a smaller knob on handle end. So next week, they will be available. They will be 26" long, 6" loadable globe and a 2" ball on end of handle. They will be another alternative to choose from.
Those not sure how clubs and maces fit into your training, here are some thoughts on the powerlifters and bodybuilders. The Stronger Grip clubs and maces are a great addition for your mobility and shoulder health. They offer excellent benefits to help in the recovery of and stability of the joints and muslces that take a beating from the punishment that your body gets. They can be used as a warmup, during and inbetween sets, and after or on off days as active recovery.
They do fit in and will only help you in your training.
Have a fantastic Thursday and make it yours!

Hey Strength Seekers. A good customer called me and asked if I was getting StrongerGrip made in China. I laughed and said NEVER! Then he told me to check out this site. Stronger Grip Tip of the week

Hello Strength seekers, The month of May is upon us and 09 is flying by! I'm going to start posting the SG Tip of the week on blog as well as in the Newsletter you sign up for on the site.
What a fantastic year so far. I only see it getting better. The SLS has been a hit in the short time it's been available. It is light enough empty to do some speed slamming and will load heavy enough to give you a great strength workout also. Very durable. I'll post video to prove that. Last weeks StrongerGrip tip was on using round thick tubing and square tubing as devices to increase grip strength while doing pull ups. I promised a video on that. You'll get one, on that and this weeks, because they go hand in hand. This week, take the round thick handled or square tube and use them for sled pulling. Oh yeah, of course, I'm sure most of you were already thinking that. So you hav
e a terriffic arsenal to use with pull-ups and sled pulling for not much coin. I know that some of you want exact information, so I will go to hardware store and get everything that is needed to do this set up and I'll get back to you this week with prices and the exact stuff you'll need. And look for videos on the pull-ups and sled pulling using the StrongerGrip tip of the week!Enjoy! To the right is a picture of a custom set of 15 lb solid globe clubs for Patti in California. Very Cool!

A Dream and Passion = Sucess
Hello Strength seekers. I apologize for so long between posts. I don't care for excuses, so I won't give any. I am actively working on getting more efficient and scheduling my time better. We all only have 24 hrs. What we choose to do with it is up to us. There is always time.
I wanted to talk a bit about a small town boy with a Dream and a Passion for strength. How humbling it has been to have some of the leading strength people in the world promote Stronger Grip. How is it possible for an Iowa boy to have great people like Dennis Rogers, Louie Simmons, Josh Henkin who carry StrongerGrip tools and countless others use StrongerGrip. I am truly blessed and will continue to put my heart into StrongerGrip products. That is what people buy. More than just a product, but something that somebody puts their passion into. StrongerGrip is going on two years of business. A lot has happened in a short time. The great stuff you all enjoy is being made in a garage still, but plans for future expansion are being looked into. The next step I'd like to pursue is have a full blown shop where StrongerGrip elves churn out the magical strength tools and also have a Stronger Grip gym, where people can come get some functional, result producing workouts with some of the finest tools instead of being shown how to do a bicep curl 10 different ways. Dreams are being realized and new ones are being dreamt. Thanks for joining along. Those that signed up for the emailing list will be getting a newsletter on a regular basis starting next week.

Good Friday-What's coming at StrongerGrip

Hey strength seekers. Hope everyone has a blessed Easter. Things are hopping at StrongerGrip headquarters. Thanks to all for the great support and enthusiasm for what SG is and offers. Top priority for StrongerGrip is high quality and first class customer service. With that you'll also get innovative and unique new tools to bring you closer to your quest for strength and health. Were getting a nice response to the PLS( Plate Loadable Shovel) and everyones still anticipating the SLS( Shot Loadable Sledge). It will be unveiled next week!!!!! Super cool!! Everything else I'll keep hush, hush till I get more time to make them reality. The finger strengthening tools will also be ready for you very soon. And like most StrongerGrip tools, very simple and very effective.
Got a great testimonial fro the FIGHT mag guys. I'll be posting it on the site and will also keep you posted on the issue that you can see the SG clubs in. They redid their FIGHT gear section and that prolonged the Club review. It'll be awesome! Know any MMA fighters? Send em to Strongergrip.com and help them get the edge.
One last note. The SG Trailer Hitch has been popular and not only can it be used on the other end of the Gut Wrench, We'll soon be offering a Olympic sleeve plug in that makes it into another grip building tool. It'll be similar to a leverage ball.

StrongerGrip Gripball Dumbbell
Hello Strength seekers and welcome to Monday. A friend sent a link of and old school training device that was made many years ago. This is the first time I saw this picture, though Dennis Rogers had mentioned last year he came across a pic of I believe the same thing. It is a Gripball dumbbell from way back! Very cool! I was excited to see my mind thinks like the old school trainers of past. Go check it out! Then head over to the StrongerGrip store and grab some old school strength tools from today!

Are you getting stronger?

Hey fellow strength seekers. I've been getting orders out and making some cool custom stuff! I get so rushed that a few custom orders I did not even get pictures of. One of the latest is a plate loadable shovel for Will Morsey. As I listened to the image being painted by his brother, I knew exactly what he was looking for. I had a similar image in mind for the Highland games sheaf toss training. This would be great. It is a thick handled shovel. You load olympic plates and let your imagination go wild! What a fantastic core builder. Check out the pic.
Are you getting stronger? You better get to Grip N Rip 2.0 this April 5. Yours truly will be there and plan on soaking up all that Adam and Brad have to offer. This will be like a strength infusion. Kind of like a blood transfusion but Adam and Brad fill you with the knowledge to get stronger. Make it happen. Getting information from these guys is priceless. I am a fan of bodybuilding because that's what got me started training with weights. Good ole Arnold and Pumping Iron. Checking out the popular BB mags and all you get is rubbish. You won't come away with knowledge on getting stronger or healthier. What a drag. Oh, but you will get bombarded with the latest wonder schmunder way to pricey super supplement. Come on, give us some quality info. No wonder the general public has no idea on how to train for health and strength. Well Adam and Brad will bombard you with the good stuff that you need. Apply it and get ready to be healthy and strong.
I'll also have some StrongerGrip goodies available.
Have a fantastic weekend!

A Dream, hard work and what's functional?
Hey strength seekers. The month of March is flying by. Are you pursuing a dream? Are you setting and achieving your goals? Get going cause the year will be gone before you know it. That's what happens when you are not pursuing your dreams and goals. Time just goes by. Ahh, shut your piehole Ryan, your saying, what do you know. I know that most don't dare chase their dreams or even make goals. It takes hard work. It takes time and it's not easy. When you get your dream in focus, things like staying up till Midnight, 1 in the morning, then getting up to go to work the next day are no big deal. Exercise gives you energy, dreams fuel you to do things that most won't do. I see to many people wanting a quick fix, a magic powder, or super shortcut program that'll answer all their dreams. It's not out there. No matter how great the promise of instant gratification sounds, it only lures you and lets you down.
My grandpa turned 96 years old this year. He is an amazing man! I love him and the lifestyle he lived that opened my eyes. He new what hard work and being functional was about. He did'nt work out in the weight training sense, but his lifestyle was a no complaining, get it done, and that's the way it is style. I look around and wonder where did that go? There was no indoor plumbing at the farm. Bathroom- outhouse. Running water- a well up a hill that he'd fill 5 gallon buckets and bring down to the house. Tending cattle. This man in his 90's is as fit as many men half his age. Did this lifestyle have anything to do with it? I say YES. You bet it did.
Today I see people wanting to get fit and in shape, buth they are bombarded with myths and unproductive routines that are broadcast in many bodybuilding magazines. Come on people, do you want to be a bodybuilder or do you want health and strength? Whatever it is you are looking for, get the right info and tools and go after it. You don't want a Doctor doing your plumbing and you don't want a Plumber giving you a checkup. You know what I mean.
If you want strength and training tools that will help with overall functionality then go check out the StrongerGrip store. You'll find the tools that'll help you with everyday living and help with the hard core athlete looking for the edge.
Train hard, put the work in, and chase your Dream!

Who uses StrongerGrip Clubs? New Maces!

Hey my strength seeking friends. As people are finding out clubs and maces are a super tool for strength, recovery, flexibility, rehabilitation and overall body empowerment. They are not that hard to learn and very fun to use. Check out the pic that Eric Chessen( the guy who came up with the name Gut Wrench) of his feline Gracie after a round with the clubs. Or maybe that's some kind of push up variation. So easy even a cat can do em!
On a mace note. My brother Morsey from Hostile fitness came up with a fantastic improvement to the SG clubs and Maces. I'm not telling right now, but you'll agree, it's a great improvement. So to show my gratitude I'm making him, by his request, the mace of all maces, a real man maker, or breaker, you better have your man badge when you grab the Hostile Mace. Details to come on it.
Also don't forget the StrongerGrip mace challenge. A few have said they are really close to the goal. Are you? Nice weather is coming, so get in gear and get swinging. I posted about a ladies mace. It is a very sleek short mace with a smaller diamter handle and 5" loadable globe. It's not just for ladies. I will be making these in a light blue and black. My dad was over the other day and he liked the smaller handled mace, so I made him one in black. My dad is 62 and not a work out dude. But he likes to golf and other things. The little time he spent swinging the mace, he could feel how beneficial it would be. So instead of having a senior mace, ladies mace and so on, it will be the 5" StrongerGrip short mace. You will be able to choose the color.
Many new things coming! Stay tuned. Get on the emailing list at the StrongerGrip home page. I plan on sending a newsletter out this week. A discount coupon coming soon to those awesome StrongerGrip customers who are on the list.
Thanks

10" Kettlebeast loaded-Short Clubs

Hey fellow strength seekers. What a fantastic week! Was yours as good? I hope so. A local magazine Family Focus did a photo shoot of my family and I at a local YMCA. It was fun. You should see my 8 year old Logan busting out his guns. Awesome! We did some cover shots and also some promo shots for StrongerGrip. Then I had a little fun bending a horseshoe, 60d spike and ripping a phonebook. People love it! I'll be writing fitness articles and helping people wade through the confusion of getting healthy. The week was also my first twitter interview. That was also very cool. Thanks to Scott Bird of STTB.
I loaded the 10" Kettlebeast up and it tipped the scales at 119 lbs! Excellent! Check out the picture, it also shows a couple of small, short loadable indian clubs. As you know indian clubs are light weight and used for a different purpose than the bigger, heavier ones. These shorter ones are great for the lighter weight exercises. They are 3-4 lbs empty and can go to 6-9 lbs loaded.
Oh, Harlan, I hope to have the olympic leverage blocks ready in two weeks.
Everyone have a great week!

StrongerGrip all over the World & NEW stuff!
Hey Strength enthusiasts. This is going to be a ramble. Here we go. South Africa, Canada, United Kingdom, Northern Ireland, Spain, and the list continues. StrongerGrip is everywhere. Word is traveling far and wide of the outstanding quality that each StrongerGrip tool is made. Quality that IS unparalleled. When you get your first StrongerGrip piece the first thing that most notice is the high quality. Now those not familiar with manufacturing, I have over 20 years in that field in which I've been apart of all aspects. At StrongerGrip our equipment is made using the art of TIG welding. You can tell by the amazing smoothness of the welds. TIG welding is in fact an art, as you will notice that most things are welded using the process if MIG, which is much easier and not as pretty. Another almost unheard of practice is each StrongerGrip tool is inspected and made sure to hold up to the high standards that are getting such great customers coming back. OK enough of that.
There are some design changes coming that will affect some of the pricing. I myself got a bunch of emails telling me of price increases due to manufacturers and the prices of steel going up. That was true prices of steel did go up. Although StrongerGrip prices have remained the same for two years!! Did you get any emails telling you prices were going down becasue of the price of steel going down?? Why not! That is what happened. Right now the prices are down. So I will only raise prices when I improve a product for the better of the customer. Which is coming by mid year. I have some design changes and product finishes that will only make a great product even greater. I will keep you posted and make sure there is plenty of notice.
Look for more contests, more NEW stuff and continued improvement.
Next contest will be a T-bomb swing contest. The T-bomb was made and a handful have gotten one. When I announce the details, I will re offer the T-bomb again at a excellent price. You will see a line of finger strengthening tools that are super cool. There will also be a StrongerGrip product manual coming that will give you exact programs and exercises to improve your grip. Also coming are Mace & Club instructional that people have been crying for.
One last thing. You should know by now, that my philosophy on training is not driven by what some one with all kinds of initials after their name have to say or what so and so's new whoopdedoo high tech something or other came up with. All things strength and fitness have been done before we were ever around. It's not that complicated. I myself love the Rocky, old school, what worked years ago still works today and that is hard, sweaty, tenacious training with a purpose. Get Brooks Kubicks' Dinosaur Training if you want some secrets. Get Pavel Tsatsoulines' stuff if you want to have your eyes opened. Just go get dirty and you'll find what works. Stay tuned!

This is a blessing and will be sure to get things into high gear.
You see a bunch of open all the time fitness joints popping up. They see the need to accomodate the busy lifestyles that seem to keep getting busier. Another solution that is even better, is a set of loadable clubs, and or a mace. Talk about anytime, anywhere. You can't take the gym with you but your clubs and maces will go right along. Summers' coming and I'm ready to train in the green grass instead of the white snow.
Stay tuned and keep your eye on the prize.

Ladies Mace and New Revolving Globe/Gripball Dumbbell
Hey Strength seekers. 09 is moving fast. StrongerGripTM is picking up momentum and looks like there is no stopping! Thanks to all the supporters. Someone told me, once people see the StrongerGripTM stuff you are going to be so busy. Well it's happening and I'm getting prepared for an explosion. I beleive if you have a dream and go after it with all ya got. You will achieve it. Know what you want and do what's neccessary to get it. You won't get it all at once, it'll be a build up of a bunch of small things and finally you step back and say WOW!
For some new stuff!
Ladies Mace- check it out. 36" Overall, 1.33" Handle diameter, 5" Globe. Empty-6 lbs. Full-15lbs.
A New exciting product development is the Revolving Globe/Gripball Dumbbell. This has 4 different sizes and is interchangable. It comes in 3",3.5",4", and a giant 4.5". It can be used as a Revolving Globe or locked down on a dumbbell handle and turned into a Gripball Dumbbell.
Shown is the Revolving Globe. Hook it to a loading pin and see what you got. It's hard enough when the globe is not revolving! You can also lock it down to stop from revolving. Now picture this with a dumbbell handle and you have a versatile grip tool. You can also attach to cable systems, bands and pulling sleds.
Last one for now. Were getting requests for olympic plate ready StrongerGripTM stuff. On top of the want lists of many is a olympic ready leverage block. In the works are olympic sleeves and pitt-bull collars that can be used on Leverage blocks, balls, & Gripball dumbbells.
Here is a sleeve that slides over and
locks down on the 1" shaft.
To the right is the Olympic Pitt-bull
collars.
Keep training hard and chasing your dreams even harder.

Having fun with jaw & neck strength
Here is good ole me pulling a old school stand up freezer with my teeth. It went a lot better than I thought it would. Before attempting I thought I'd have to bust out the neck harness. The freezer started to act as a plow which made it a bit harder. But harder is good. Enjoy!
Old Time Strongman 10" Dumbbell
What a fantastic day! Sun is shining and I feel good. Just did some Monster mace swinging in front of a HUGE pile of snow. I got er loaded to 29 lbs and it feels fine. See Video . I'm having editing problems with Movie maker, pain in the rear. Anyone know of a g
ood video editing software please let me know.
Check out the picture of Matt with his strongman combo 10" dumbbell. He's a big guy so the 10" looks small, but trust me it's huge. Loaded that stunning piece will go up to 180 lbs! His barbell is even sweeter. It's a 2.38" handle and it can be loaded also. When he gets some pics of it I'll post them for you.
Lots of exciting things happening. I know it's cold out, but keep swinging your mace. If you are lucky and have tall ceilings swing inside.
The New ladies short mace is done. My wife loves it. It'll be ready for sale next week. It can also be used by men, don't get me wrong. I can paint it black for the gents.
The skinny on it is 36" overall length. 1.3" diameter handle. 5" loadable globe.
Empty weight- 6 lbs Filled weight- 15 lbs
How about I offer the 5" and 6" globe style on this. That way if you grip challenged men want a smaller handle, but bigger capacity, you will have the option. Seriously, everyone has different needs, some guys have big hands and others have small hands and here at StrongerGrip we aim to provide you with the best quality stuff that suits you. So remember you can call and get things tweaked to your specs.

Thanks and Gods Peace & Strength to you.

Year of the Grip. StrongerGrip that is.
Hey strength seekers. What a fantastic year it is! Result producing training is where it's at. People are seeing the light and how hard work on some basic exercises and overall body training tools are getting them results, FAST! That is what training is supposed get you. RESULTS! In a fairly quick time frame. Too many are spending too much time on thousands of exercises, in a place that is getting outdated.(The gym) Kettlebells, clubs, and maces are taking strength and fitness into the right direction for people of all skill and desire levels. These tools are fantastic to take anywhere, they don't take up much space and the results you get are second to none.
Here at StrongerGrip we are literally blasting off and it's only January. There are many New things coming and several products that will be tweaked and offer more versatility than before.
To answer a couple of questions that keep coming up.
1) Where to get steel shot?
--In February you will be able to find it at the StrongerGrip store.
2) Do you have club, mace or grip tool instructional DVDs?
--I am setting a goal to have something available by June.
And for the New things, keep watching as I'll be trickling them out as the year goes on.
To start I'll post picture of the overhauled Grip Ball. These will be the Grip Ball Grenades.
They will allow you to use as regular grip balls, attach to loading pin or pull-up bar.
You can also get a loading shaft the will plug in and it'll be a Leverage ball. Then you can get a T-bomb plug in and Wham! a T-bomb. Not to mention some top secret projects that these will also "plug in to". They will be very versatile and look for the Leverage Blocks to be the same way.
There has also been a buzz about the StrongerGrip wrist developer. It is real and I will probably do a pre-web listing sale on it soon. It has been a hidden gem that only a few top strength guys have. Until now. More on it later.
So keep swinging your maces & clubs and make 2009 your best year yet!

More Mace swinging-Womens Challenge!
Hey strength seekers. The maces are moving and people are swinging away. Women out there, I did not leave you out. Well actually, I kinda did. Sorry. The short mace is a fantastic tool for everyone but especially for women. I posted about my wife starting to get in on the action. She has always been active, but not in a gym or strength training setting. Tuesday was the first time I've ever shown her how to swing the mace. It only took about 7 min for her to catch on to the basic swing. I was very proud of her. Then I showed her some club swinging exercises and she loved em! The video is of her second time swinging the short mace and she is on fire. So for those not sure about doing the swinging movements, you can do it. Now for a short mace swinging challenge for the women. Same rules except for the following changes.
1) Use StrongerGrip Short Mace-or Womens Mace coming Feb.(It's a short mace with smaller diameter handle and 5" Globe instead of 6". Just as sinister, I mean effective.
2) Load to 15 lbs and swing for 100 times.
3) Prizes will be awarded to first 5 women to send in challenge video. I plan on having smaller clubs for you to choose from for prizes.
Check out my beautiful wife as she starts her mace swinging journey.
Gods Peace & Strength to all!

StrongerGrip custom kettlebell 4 myself!!!

Hey strength seekers. I love making custom stuff for you all. It is a real pleasure and I take great care in creating the cool things you guys want. Honestly everything I make feels like a child of mine, and some of them I'd like to keep. But instead I send them out in the cruel world to make you better people. Well this latest work of mine is for myself. It's a 10" Kettlebell that weighs 55 lbs. OOHH! Big deal. This 10" KB can also be loaded up to approx. 110lbs!!! I'll let you know on the final weight. Now that is a Big Deal! You can check out the pic of it next to a 8" Monster Mace. It is big and mean and ready to make me a better person. I LOVE it! Can not wait to swing, clean, jerk(the KB) and just get to know it. This has been a project I've been squeezing inbetween everything else and am just happy as pie that it's finally finished, almost, still have to paint it. Let me talk about constuction of this beauty. Just like the picture in custom stuff of Eric Chessens' custom KB. This one is similar except it has a tube through the center, bottom up filled and sealed with lead. The handle is also filled with lead and welded on to the globe. This gives it the base weight. Then it has a loading hole that is threaded and ready for a plug. You load steel shot as you need and have one KB with a 55-110 lb range. Awesome!! As with the custom loadable dumbbells the kettelbell have a lot going on inside that can not be seen. They are more than a handle with globes welded on. There's a bit of intensive work involved. And like all StrongerGrip stuff, it's made with passion and by one who has a passion for strength.
Train hard and be a better person.

Mace Swinging Mama! Mace Race incentive.
Hey Strength seekers. I'm excited. My wife is ready to start a mace swinging program. She is an amazing mother of 5 and that said, time is limited as she is always busy. We start Monday. Were going with the short mace and I will post program and how she's doing. Now, I've never been accused of being the smartest husband, and showing her how to swing something that could do damage could be one reason. On the other hand, when she's going through the training process and feels her arms and core & her legs and hips tighten up I think she will be more than happy! I think the kids will also stay in line when they see mom swinging the mace around. If not, nothing like a bonk on the head to straighten them up. Stay tuned for the Mace swinging Mama!
On another note. Tim Lynch, strength seeker and kettlebeller is killing the Mace swings and I believe he will be the first to send in his Mace Race results. Tim said that the mace swinging is complimenting his kettlebell training very nicely. Great Job Tim! I look forward to awarding you a StrongerGrip prize.
Use that as motivation and get swinging! If you don't have a Mace yet, Get One!

Gut Wrench Praise from the Machine!
Hello fellow strength seekers. I have been one busy hombre and hope you all have been too.
Those that have a Gut Wrench know how versatile and sinister of a tool it is. Those that do not have one, check out what my brother Mike "the Machine" Bruce has to say about it.
On a Mace swinging note, they have been getting a wonderful response and many are ready for the challenge. I was out the last few days in below zero weather swinging my Monster around loaded to 28 lbs and what fun it was. When it's this dog gone cold I'll swing inside and tell the kids to watch out, but I wanted to get some cool videos, that I'll post of some mace swinging in the snow. There is also an awesome NEW project coming soon!! Stay tuned.
Gods Peace & strength to you.

Training Goals-New 2-Handed Leverage Wrist Block
2009 is off to a screaming start. Thank you all for supporting StrongerGrip! I can not say thank you enough. May you all reach your goals. What are your goals? Are they written down? Mental goals are great, but hard to be accounted for. Write them down and as you achieve them cross them off and add new ones. You will feel great! That's what I love about training. Things that you could not do once, can be done with progressive goals and focused training. What better feeling than accomplishing something you thought you could'nt do. I have a goal of performing feats of strength and speaking to schools, youth groups and other groups to motivate and or entertain. To do that I must have the feats I want to perform written down and methodically work to achieve them.
Motivation, where do you get yours? I am surrounded by those that give it their all. So are you, you just have to look. Someone that is totally amazing is "The Unbreakable" Adam T, Glass. What he has accomplished and continues to accomplish is well...AWESOME and Inspiring.
Did he do it by luck or by messing around? NO! He worked hard, overcame obstacles and rose above the everyday roadblocks to be Great. Check out his Blog if you want to be inspired.
A New 2-Handed Leverage Wrist Block. The Elite. It is 18" long and a beautiful addition to any grip/wrist building arsenal. This was custom made for Steve Belanger and it is so cool, I want everyone to have a chance to get one. Check out the pics of the Silver Standard 2HLWB and The Elite 2HLWB.
Gods Peace & Strength to you!

Screaming Grip and fantastic arm conditioning
Hey my strength seeking friends. I'm loving the response for the Mace Race. Come and get it. Yes I am giving away 10 Strongergrip tools for the first ten to send in their results. SO email me at strongergrip@yahoo.com and get on the list because when you do you will at the very least get a FREE StrongerGrip T-shirt. They will be out soon. So get a mace, sign up and get a T-shirt for going the distance. Doing your best is all that can be asked. Swinging maces and clubs are not only fantastic for hardcore trainers but also for women. Why? First off, people are tired of going to local gyms and not having results to show. With club and mace training you get a totally terrific overall conditioing and strengthening workout in a package that you can take anywhere. I love training in the fresh air. 20 degrees or 90 degrees, I want to be outside. I like to parks with my family and I can also take my clubs and maces and get a super workout. Now for women. How many want stronger more toned arms? You will be seeing results after a few times training with clubs and maces. You get all around fitness in a very portable setup. And on a side note, they can also be used for home protection. Someone breaks in, watch out, its going to hurt. WHAAAAP! The intruder just got clubbed. And your family is safe. Plus your in the best shape of your life.
Till next time.

The StrongerGrip Mace Race
Here we go. To answer some questions on the StrongerGrip Monster Mace Race.
There will be a contest for the 6" Mace and the 8" Monster Mace.
If you have not had the pleasure of swinging a Mace around( I use the term pleasure loosely) I can only say it is a fantastic workout. It hits your body like no bodys business. Awesome for your shoulders, arms, core back, etc... etc... Once you learn the basic swing, you will be off to the races.
My birthday is in May. So for that reason that is when the contest will be ending. That should give those who do not have a Mace time to get one and those that do to get swinging.
First, besides the benefits of being a bad mofo after accomplishing this here is what I'm offering for prizes to the first 10 people to complete the race.
Your choice of Gut Wrench, Leverage Block, Gripball dumbbell, leverage ball, short mace, or a 5" or 6" indian club!!!! That's right you choose one of those and I will send it to you for FREE!!
What you have to do.
1) Get a StrongerGrip 6" or 8" Mace.
2)If 6" is being used-Load to 25lbs and swing 200 times. You can go one direction or both directions. Ex. 25 one way.25 the other way and back and forth till ya reach 200.
3)You may not set Mace down during the swinging or rest on shoulders, head, etc. It shall be held out in front when not being swung.
4)If 8" is being used- Load to 50lbs and swing 50 times. You can go one direction or both directions. Ex. 25 one way.25 the other way and back and forth till ya reach 50.
5)Then video using digital camera or recording device, clearly show the weight of the Mace and then proceed to swinging, no editing.
6)There will be a time limit, I will post this later. I will get a feel for it and it will be something I will be able to do myself. Or at least be attainable for you beasts out there.
Those are the preliminary rules for now.
There may be extra prizes for recording yourself upchucking. Just kidding!
As my good friend Mike "The Machine" would say, come get some!

A StrongerGrip New Year Day!
Happy New Years Strength Seekers. If you do not plan on a successful year you won't have one.
Get planning. I am planning on a fantastic Year and am enjoying the pursuit of a Dream. When I get it, I'll dream a new one. I have lots, and I know you do to. I'm sharing a video of some weighted sit-ups and some Monster Mace swinging. No, that is not a nice heated gym. Although I thought of starting the burn barrels behind me, that would have looked cool. I'll post again this evening with Monster Mace guidelines and also a 6" Mace Contest too. I don't want to leave those out who have one of those buggers. It's just as brutal. That will be a higher rep contest.
Train Hard.

Taming the Monster Mace Contest
The beginning of a New Year is coming fast. I am so excited and ready to explode from all the fantastic things that I see coming. Whooooohooo! Sorry, I had to let that out. I hope you all are making choices to make 09 your best year ever. I mean come on, every year we should expect to improve or at least give it our best shot. Does it take hard work, yeah, we should expect it to be hard. It's so much sweeter than when things are easy.
All right, first StrongerGrip contest of 2009 will be The Taming the Monster Mace Race. Is it a race, no, it just rhymed so I threw it in there. Although I will be setting a deadline. After the first of the year I will lay out the rules and prizes of course will be StrongerGrip tools to make you a better person. Meaning when you improve your physical condition, you should change as a whole person. Anywho, I see the contest going something like this. Those that get a Monster Mace and are able to load it up to 50lbs and complete a set number of swings and catch it on camera will be showered with prizes, that of course will be pale in comparison to what kind of shape and how strong you will be by swinging the Monster loaded with that weight!
Here are some of the benefits I think you will get when reaching this goal.
1) A solid steel core.
2)Arms that exude power.
3)Shoulders and lats that will make King Kong envious.
4)A grip that will not be denied.
5)Overall body conditioning that only a true warrior has.
So stay tuned and get your Monster Mace today!
The picture is of a couple of unpainted Monster Maces and a couple of goodies I've had for a while. They are oh I don't know kettleshells. A round top and a flat bottom, with a nifty k-bell handle.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
As we close the year I hope you all look back and say, Wow I came a long way. Amazing how fast time goes. If you left some things that did not get accomplished, there is another brand new year coming. And this one will go just as fast. So start off right and get going! StrongerGrip will continue to offer Grip and body conditioning tools to keep you on track. We'll continue to bring you the old school feel and work ethic that used to be the norm. Hard, direct, and brutal. That my friends is what gets things done. No super fancy ET training device, no super mega power or pill, not advice from someone who can't crush a styrofoam cup. Simple hard work. That is The Magic to all accomplishment. Obviously you must also have a good road map and the right direction, because as much as you need hard work, if you are working hard in the wrong direction, you won't get as far as you should. So be smart, work hard and enjoy the journey. There will be lots of new things in 2009. The Monster Mace will be ready to roll. The New StrongerGrip loadable sledge will be ready to swing for you old school tire beaters. We've got to keep those tires in line. The other stuff you'll have to stay tuned. There will also be some contests for you StrongerGrip loyals to win some cool stuff. Check out the picture. Sneak peak at some New things for 09!

Mighty Joe Super Grip Machine in action!
Here is a video of the Super Grip Machine in action.
I stayed on one side for videoing purposes.
Otherwise I would have used the pinch plates from other side
of GM. Possibly same with gripper handles. Although exercises
can be done either way.
7 Days till CHRISTmas!! WOW!!
Gods Peace & Strength to all.

Mighty Joe Super Grip Machine!!

Here it is. The one, the only, the custom Mighty Joe Super Grip Machine! A brilliant piece of work. The one you see is a one of a kind. Constructed of Stainless Steel for professional arm wrestler Mighty Joe Musselwhite. Great news is early 2009 this will be offered to all you grip enthusiasts. With the exception that it'll be made out of steel. The stainless is really priceless and extremely costly, so it will be offered at a more reasonable price. Not cheap, but reasonable. Enjoy the pictures and video coming tomorrow.

Phone Book Rip and Spike bend
I love doing feats of strength. Phone books have been a roller coaster ride for me. I'm strong then they kick my bootie. Well I kinda laid off of doing them for a while and kept on with some other feats plus continued to use my StrongerGrip tools to keep my grip strength strong. This is strange but I had a dream that I was ripping through phone books left and right, some real monsters, doing them with ease. It was one of those dreams when you wake up and wonder if it was real. So, I had to test it out, I got a big ole book that was giving me problems before. I grabbed it and blasted through it like in my dream.(Yeah, I know, what the heck ya dreaming about phone book ripping for.) So after work today I grabbed another and ripped it,(it was a bit tougher than the ones in my dream, but it gave in because I did'nt give up.) Then I grabbed a 60d spike and bent it. Good times!

Awesome response to New site& MONSTER Mace!

Hey strength seekers. Thanks for all the support and response to the new site.
All you club & mace swinging maniacs, I have a new mace that will be called the Monster Mace!
It has a thick handle and an 8" Loadable Globe. How heavy will it get? Are you ready...
over 50 lbs! That should take care of anyone that needs a heavy mace. Empty it weighs 13 lbs, so it definitely allows you to work as you need.
Logan is holding the 6" and New Monster 8"! And of course the goofy guy is me holding the new creation!

Take care!

Short Mace & Club Exercises
Loadable Short Mace & 5" Loadable Indian Club. Try these Chop Lunge exercises for overall body conditioning. Great for before and definitely after the holidays! Enjoy.
Choice of Strength
Hope everyone is reaching their goals and getting ready for Christmas. Most reading this have made a choice to pursue strength. I sincerely believe that the pursuit of Strength in the physical manner carries over into your emotional and spiritual areas of your life also. If a person spends countless hours training and forging their bodies that the mind also gets a workout. Your body becomes stronger , your mind gets more resilient from pushing past what you thought was possible and soon you are achieving the impossible. That creates a better person. And hopefully you go out and share your gift of strength with those that need it. You may not be strong enough to lift a car off someone, but I know you are strong enough to be there for someone in need. Could be a donation, lending a helping hand, giving your time to listen to someone going through tough times, anything big or small, show your strength. We build our bodies, sharpen our minds, lets open our hearts and embrace what Christmas is about. I like to remember what was given for all of us. That keeps me focused and lets me put the little nuances aside.

The Bullhorns & The Trailer Hitch for the Gut Wrench

Check out these two attachments that you can use with the Gut Wrench or without it.
The Bullhorns and The Trailer Hitch. Why the names? Look at em. The Trailer Hitch is a 3" Globe that slides over the end of an olympic bar and is fantastic for your grip. Great for armwrestling training and feels awesome doing presses, rows, curls and well everything else.
The Bullhorns can be grabbed by the 1" Horns or by the 3" balls! A unique and fun, if your idea of fun is driving your body to the limits, tool for stepping up your conditioning. Enjoy these and if you already have a Gut Wrench email me for discount prices. All right, back to work.

I'm BACK! - NEW stuff and a year almost gone.

Hey fellow strength seekers. I can not believe it is almost Dec. WOW!! I have had a fantastic year and the last two months have been CRAZY! I want to thank everyone who has helped in making StrongerGrip a leading authority in grip and body conditioning tools. A Big Huge Thanks! You can't even imagine what has been accomplished here at StrongerGrip. I am finishing some wicked custom orders an
d will be posting pictures all week. One of the coolest and most anticipated custom order has been Mighty Joes' grip machine. It was supposed to be a B-day present and here we are almost Christmas. Joe, I hope the complimentary goods have kept me off your hit list. You will see pictures this week and also a track #. The last 4 days I really kicked some tail and I'm ready to land on my face with exhaustion, except that I'm to excited. Check out the pictures of a custom loadable sledge that looks like a giant meat tenderizer. That is for myself that I use for doing performing strength /motivation shows. Kids love it! This hammer is what the
NEW StrongerGrip loadable sledges' will be like. A 4x4 head that loads up to a max. weight of 24lbs. The old 3x3 were cool, just lacking capacity. Also check out the shot of a 10" loadable Dumbbell. What a beast. The one next to it is a 8" loadable inch replica. Amazing how it dwarfs it! The last pic is of reverse leverage ball curls. This Super grip tool will give you eagle talon fingers and is the next best thing to a can of spinach for your forearms! And if you haven't been waiting for this, the NEW StrongerGrip site is so close to being done. You will love it. I apologize for the long pause in posting new stuff. You all have been keeping me busy. I love it! Those that have their Gut Wrenches, send me videos or how you are using yours and I'll be sure to get you a discount on the new attachments that will be posted this week also.Stay motivated and Enjoy your week!
